Left Handed Ignition System

A system is provided for aiding left-handed individuals or individuals whose right hands are immobilized to be able to start a vehicle by turning an ignition key in which the key slot is movable or placeable to the left of the steering wheel at the driver’s option to permit starting of the vehicle utilizing an individual’s left hand only. In one embodiment a duplicate key slot is positioned to the left of the steering wheel on the dash of the car or, in a further embodiment, for key slots mounted to the steering column, the column is provided with a duplicate key slot to the left-hand side of the column. In another embodiment, a rotatable sleeve or collar is made part of the steering column, which when rotated rotates the key slot from an initial right-hand position to a left-hand position, thus to enable the starting of the vehicle only utilizing one’s left hand.

Automobile Replacement Grill

The replacement grill fits the grill opening of an automobile, the grill having a surround, a mount shelf extended from the surround, and clips for joining the mount shelf to the auto. The grill is further comprised of a multi-layer, substantially porous insert with an outer layer of expanded material, preferably having diamond shaped openings. A center mesh divides the outer layer from a partial, non-porous reflective inner layer, the inner layer having a defined shape.

Vehicular Cargo Space Extender

A vehicular cargo space extender includes a frame assembly adapted for slidable mounting to the vehicular cargo space. The frame assembly is slidable between an extended position and a retracted position. In the extended position, the frame assembly extends effectively increases the length of the vehicular cargo space. In the retracted position, the frame assembly fits within the vehicular cargo space without obstructing the unextended length thereof.

A communication system for use with an automobile having an accelerator, a brake, a cruise control, and a brake lamp includes a display, a transmitter, a receiver, and a cruise lamp visible from outside the automobile. The communication system includes a processor in data communication with the accelerator, the brake, the cruise control, the brake lamp, the display, the transmitter, the receiver, and the cruise lamp. The processor includes programming to actuate the display to present data received by the receiver and to actuate the cruise lamp when the cruise control is actuated. The processor also includes programming to actuate the transmitter to transmit cruise data when the cruise control is actuated. Programming also causes the cruise lamp to blink when the cruise control is actuated while the accelerator is actuated. Programming may also actuate the transmitter to transmit acceleration data when the cruise control and the accelerator are actuated.

Retractable Patio Assembly For A Recreational Vehicle

A retractable patio assembly for a recreational vehicle has a platform member pivotally attached to a wall structure of the recreational vehicle and pivotable between a stored and an extended position. Attachment to the wall structure enables adjustable vertical movement of a rear edge of such patio assembly. A pair of adjustable supports are provided at a front edge. In another embodiment, the patio assembly is received within a pair of laterally spaced track members for storage under the recreational vehicle.

Portable and Stowable Ramp and Equipment Storage System for Pickup Trucks

A portable ramp and tool container for use in the bed of a pickup truck where the container includes interchangeable retractable and extendable ramps and tool trays which pull out from the container. Portions of the ramps can pivot downward to contact the ground while the tool tray may have a leg attached for support.
