An innovative and highly useful new product targeted at underground construction companies that lay storm pipe, the Slotted Pipe Laser Target and A New Method of Aligning A Suspended Pipe With A Pipe Laser Before It Is Set, has been developed by Craig S. Hill of Belleview, Florida. A very heavy pipe can be effortlessly aligned with a pipe laser when it is suspended by a cable before it is set, as opposed to setting the full weight of the pipe down, then shifting it manually. The invention’s unique design greatly facilitates the aligning of a heavy pipe with a pipe laser while suspended.  Once aligned, it is then lowered to the ground in perfect alignment, with no manual shifting required.
